The Wanderlust Ride:
Becky bikes to protect choice!

This summer I will join 19 other social justice activists from around the country for a 5 week 1800+ mile reproductive justice tour from New Orleans to New York City.

What makes this trip so special?

Well for starters, I will be riding a bicycle the entire way! Each day our group will cycle 50+ miles, then spend our nights camping under the stars or lodging with fellow activists in their communities. The trip will also serve as a opportunity to learn about women’s reproductive and sexual health experiences. Along the way we will be making stops at various reproductive justice organizations and having round-table discussions with activists, educators, clergy, and others working for reproductive justice.

These are my personal goals for the tour:

to lead and facilitate discussions about reproductive justice, share my own experiences and motivations for supporting reproductive justice, and learn about the current political situation in various communities
to share the religious pro-choice message and increase participation of religious people in the movement
to raise money to fight for reproductive justice in Missouri
to challenge myself physically as I never have before.
